Target Coupon Policy
First, Target allows the use of a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon per item. Also known as “stacking” and that is great and all, just remember that usually store coupons have a limit of one per guest.
Target also has mobile coupons which are simply store coupons on your mobile smart phone. You can sign up on their website for mobile coupons and I highly suggest doing so 🙂 These mobile store coupons can be stacked with manufacturer coupons.
Target has what’s called cartwheel and it is another mobile type of savings, but not considered store coupons. That means you are welcome to use your cartwheel coupons on top of store coupons and manufacturer coupons per item. Sign up on their website and use your smart phone or print off the bar code online. If you don’t have a smart phone, you can still use Cartwheel and here is how:
Log on to Target Cartwheel on a desktop, then add savings to your cartwheel by clicking on “browse” , then click on “Barcode” and click “Print” and take it to the cashier to scan at checkout. Some cashiers are probably not familiar with this as most use smart phones, so, if you have trouble politely ask for a manager.
You will find easy instructions when you sign up online.
Now, the best part of shopping at Target is their gift card promotions. Target runs “Gift Card Promos” in their weekly ad and other unadvertised promos throughout the month. When purchasing items that are part of a Gift Card Promotion, you can stack a manufacturer and a store coupon on the item and still receive your gift card! Also, these Gift Card Promos can be rolled. This means you can buy the participating items, turn around and buy the same items in your second transaction, use the gift card as part of your payment, and receive another promotional gift card.
Price matching- When price matching at Target, I suggest doing it at the customer service desk and also remember that you can only use a manufacturer coupon when price matching an item.
